Tacit Collective: a women’s world.

Tacit /ˈtæsɪt/

Something that is understood without being stated.

Tacit was born out of the disparity in the art industry between women and men — where art by women accounts for a mere 2% of the art sold. As such, it is our mission to amplify female creatives in a way that is approachable to the emerging art collector.

The Founder

‘‘Art to me has always been a means of self-expression. From the artistic practice being a manifestation of an artist’s state of mind, all the way to an artwork hanging in the home of a collector. It’s a reflection of ourselves.

I’ve always made a conscious effort to collect art that conveys my own ethos. My walls adorned with art from my parent’s native city of Barcelona, pieces that depict abstract interpretations of my favourite comfort food, or a record vinyl that represents a significant moment in time.

I encourage other art collectors to do the same, which is why I curated a collection of artworks by coveted female artists, so that you can build your own collection centred around your own unique ethos. The meaning, feeling, and moments you choose to exhibit — well, that’s up to you.’’
