Respecting the Art: A message on value and support

I wanted to take a moment to share something from my heart. Being an artist can often feel like an endless challenge, and for women in this field, it can feel even more difficult at times. The struggle is real, but when there’s passion and the possibility to keep going, it makes it just a bit easier. Your support means the world to me.

Lately, I’ve been facing some challenges when it comes to pricing. While I’m grateful that people love my work, I’ve noticed that negotiations can sometimes become uncomfortable. I completely understand the need to talk about price—it’s a part of being in business—but I also want to emphasize that the value of my work comes from the dedication and effort I put into it. I pay my taxes, I live my life, and just like anyone else, I strive to make a living doing what I love.

I ask that we all approach these discussions with respect. Negotiations are one thing, but I kindly ask for kindness and understanding in how we approach them. It’s hard for me to bring this up, as I’d much rather focus on the work itself, but sometimes it’s important to address.

Please know, I never force anyone to buy my art. If you’re interested, I simply ask that we treat each other with respect and understanding.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
